Accommodations

The hunt packages include:

  • Transfers to and from the airport. Customs assistance.
  • Transportation to and from the zones, between the zones.
  • 14,12 or 8 days (depending on the hunt package) of accommodation including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Unlimited use of our bar.
  • Laundry and ironing on demand.
  • 4x4 transportation with a driver during the hunt.
  • P.H., tracker, portage and use of hounds.
  • Skinning and trophy processing.

The hunt packages do not include:

  • Passport / Visa fees and associated expenses.
  • Gun permits (Required only if you are bringing your own guns)
  • Cameroon hunting license.
  • Flights to/from and within Cameroon.
  • Hunting / accident / life insurance (Required by the Cameroonian Government).
  • Rental fees for our guns and fees for ammunition.
  • Trophy fees on animals taken or wounded + 15 % antipoaching/community development fee.

Hunting Licence

The requirements for obtaining a Cameroon Hunting License

  • 4 passport size photos.
  • Copies of the passport’s pertinent pages (pages with photo, passport no, issuing office, personal information, etc...) including the Cameroon visa.
  • Copies of the firearm permit issued by the Cameroon Consulate (incase you choose to bring your own)
  • 1 health certificate.
  • We are authorized by the Cameroonian Government to fill & sign your Hunting License application, on your behalf, prior to your arrival to Cameroon.

Hunting Limits

The Hunting Licence issued to you will be the major category licence which allows you to hunt a maximum of 6 animals.

There are two groups of game animals. You can hunt maximum of 2 species from group 1 and maximum of 4 species from group 2.

Group 1 species:

Hunting Season

Savannah: December 1st - End of May.
Rainforest: December 1st - End of July.

For the Savannah, best hunting period is between the first week of January and end of March, for the Rain Forest Zone it is between the begining of April through end of June.

Visa

  • The EU, USA, Australian, Canadian or British nationals are required to have a passport valid for at least 6 months.
  • A visa issued by the Cameroon Consulate.
  • A prepaid round trip ticket.
  • Visas are also available on arrival for countries where Cameroon has no diplomatic representation.
  • A yellow fever vaccination certificate must be presented on arrival by all travelers over one year of age.

Health Care

Immunization against diphtheria, hepatitis A and typhoid is recommended. Poliomyelitis is endemic and inoculation is advised. Vaccines are also sometimes advised for hepatitis B, meningococcal meningitis, rabies and tuberculosis.

Malaria risk exists all year throughout the country, predominantly in the malignant falciparum form. Resistance to chloroquine and sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine has been reported. The recommended prophylaxis is mefloquine.

Must Bring Along

  • Light weight hunting attire for day time, warm clothing for night time.
  • Wide brimmed hat.
  • Rubber boots if you are hunting in rain forest zone, a flash light with extra batteries.
